OS X FS2 bounces in the dock, then quits.
Title says it all.   Any suggestions?   I used Turey's installer, but all I seem to be able to get is an icon that bounces briefly, and then quits.

I'm running OS X 10.4.9 on a PowerBook G4.  Any suggestions?

Have you installed OpenAL?

Yes I have.  The install seems to have been successful as well -- there's an OpenAL.framework in my /Library/Frameworks folder.

Have you mounted the .dmg, or are you trying to run it?

why would an SCP error be considered as news? :wtf: *smacks Cobra*It's a feature.

Re: OS X FS2 bounces in the dock, then quits.
I mounted the DMG, and copied the .app to the directory I told the installer to install to (in my case, /FS2/)

If I launch the app from the .dmg, and not from its own directory, the screen goes blank, and the app quits after 30 seconds or so with an error message (correctly) stating that it can't find the data files.
