As the title says, I am missing character portraits from the story segments like the hallways and such. They're just empty hallways.
Using the knossos release with no other fancy stuff going on.

Please post your fs2_open.log file.  Instructions on how to do this can be found in this post.

Have you tried to verifying file integrity for Dimensional Eclipse (should be a menu item on DE's tile in Knossos' home tab)?

Have to say, that i am actually able to confirm this. Checked the CBAnims for the first 5 missions.

Not to speak of, that DE wants MVP 3.8.1 only, that is not available to download, anymore.

So i would say, that this error lies in wrong assigned CBAnim files.

It's not an error, it was done intentionally. As for why you'll have to ask Droid.

Strygon:
Is it the Knossos version? Because that one is known to have run into some... problems relating to that.
