Re: Steam Summer Sale Discussion Thread
I'm new to this steam sale stuff.  If Blood Dragon is already on sale for 25% off, is there any chance of it dropping even more as a daily deal, flash sale, or community choice?
Very much so.  The standing rule for big Steam sales is to never pick up anything on your wishlist until the last day of the sale, since there's a chance it could appear as part of a daily or flash deal for even less at some point.  For Blood Dragon specifically, since it's such a new title, it might not be included in those more significant deals, but it's not like the price will go up again before the sale ends, so you can afford to wait and see.

lol! Just grabbed Dishonored for about $13 after the expansions.
And I now have a duplicate Reus card for trade for one of: Bioshock Infinite, Dead Island Riptide, Prison Architect, or Skyrim cards. I'm in the Steam group, message me.

Terraria is on sale for 2.50 USD if anyone doesn't have it.

And it's supposedly going to get an update (finally) sometime in the next few months.

Picked up Mirror's Edge for six bucks.  Admittedly, the major reason to buy this one was because I got a new lappy that can run games all purdy like.  I'm going to enjoy this.

Re: Steam Summer Sale Discussion Thread
I need to get around to that; I've had it sitting around since a sale or two ago.

And I don't even know if my machine can run it, but if Deus Ex: HR winds up being the next community choice at that crazy price, I'm totally hitting that.

Well the kicker would be my lovely processor, which is a single-core Pentium 4 3.0 GHz.  Feel free to stop laughing eventually.

Re: Steam Summer Sale Discussion Thread
That shouldn't pose much of a problem.  Your video card and RAM would be the biggest consideration.

Extra Football Manager 2013 card for Dead Island Riptide or Skyrim.

(Yes, it's silly, but I feel like making a full set anyway)

Re: Steam Summer Sale Discussion Thread
Yeah, that's what I'm never sure of when it comes to minimum requirements.  If they say "dual-core processor at X GHz," is that simply because you'd need the individual cores of said processor to be at speed X, or is there something about the game's thread behavior that absolutely requires multiple cores to run it?  At least if it's something like "requires Vista or later," I know I'm screwed from the get-go. :p

Edit: Welp, got the Augmented Edition and all the DLC, for a grand total of $6.  That's just crazy. :D

I got gifted TrackMania2 Canyon because my friend bought a reduced multi-copy set. I would have preferred a non-Steam copy, but I'm not going to complain about free stuff (and I did want to get it sometime)!

Re: Steam Summer Sale Discussion Thread
I'm a bit over $20 for the moment, but that's going to jump by at least $10 more whenever I pick up a few wishlist titles near the end.
