Small question: will FS2 crash if I have more than 3 battle 'pieces' in a music track? or can I put in more, like 4 or 5?

Yes. FS2 stores music type according to their index. That means the fourth song will always be...whatever type the fourth song is.

I'm not sure how hard it'll be, but I'd rather look it after taylor has gotten OpenAL fully implemented, so we can switch over to it.
