Samus Aran, definitely. More kills than pratically any other character, and how many of them have blown up two planets (three if you count Dark Aether destabilizing) single-handedly?
Wait. All I can think of is Zebes blowing up. SR388 is still around, only part of Tallon IV got blown up, so what else is there?

This year, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union Address occurred during the same week.  This is an ironic juxtaposition of events--one involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication, while the other involves a groundhog.

SR388 was vaporized by that station crashing into it in Metroid Fusion. And don't argue with me on whether or not a space station would destroy a planet. If you look at the final cutscene of Fusion, you can see only a planetary explosion behind the ship, not a planet with an explosion on it.

I remember reading somewhere that its atmosphere got burned off or something. Same difference either way.

The arbiter is a way better "character" than the chief if you do not consider the books. We're talking "game" characters.

Bah, someone beat me to Garrick. The man oozes smooth. In a non sleazy way. Sometimes.

Hiim or Samus. She'd put some manners on him.

Re: Favorite Game Character
It's Tyrael really.

Most Blizzard characters are awesome. Even the simplest units in their RTS series have personality!

Does there exist a StarFox Mod?  Yes!  Check out Shadows of Lylat!

That thing…its just too persistant.

I'm gonna have to go with the guy in the locker (on Manaan) from SW:KotOR.

Re: Favorite Game Character
it only takes one look at my username + an IQ of 30 to figure out my favorite character (hint: not from any of the books)

How can you argue with the Assault Rifle + Mjolnir Mark VI armor + John's voice ???

okay, maybe Samus could measure up, but she doesn't get any points for looks
