No fullscreen in trunk builds
Well, since I started using trunk builds I can`t open the game in full screen.
When I try, it stays on black screen and the whole system freezes.
Everything works fine in other 3.6.10 builds.
BTW, in every 3.6.10 build I`m not getting any coloured lights (like those generated by cannons or beams, for example), every light is simple white. Is there a way to fix that?

My rig:
Athlon 2 core 2,6 GHz
1gig RAM
Radeon x1650 (with old drivers, so that`s not the issue)

At what point does the game freeze? If at the very beginning, it might be caused by your firewall throwing a popup warning that the build tries to get to the Interwebs.

You could try running a debug and posting the fs2_open.log here.

Ok, I`ve spend a fev hours trying all combinations with drivers from 7.1 to 8.9 and here`s what I`ve found:
We can divide these drivers into 3 groups (comparing their compability with 3.6.10 builds):
1. drivers from ? to 7.11 - fullscreen error I mentioned (only with trunk builds), normal, glow etc. fine. All lights have the same colour as sun (ex. in the system with white sun we have 2 deimos corvettes shooting each other with green beams but instead of green, the beans emit white light). And no movie scaling.
2. drivers from 7.12 to 8.7 - fullscreen fine, lights fine, but no normal lights. No movie scaling.
3. 8.8 and 8.9 - fullscreen fine, lights fine, normals fine, scaling fine (only with 8.9) but one very bad, but AFAIK common issue: game freeze when bigger are about to show up (anything bigger than Elysium).
In that case, the best known combination I`ve found ATM is the 8.9 drivers with atioglxx.dll from 7.11 drivers in the FS2 folder which works similar to the 1st group except the fullscreen error (no error here).

But that`s still not satisfying.

PS. Log file on freeze shows nothing out of the ordinary; just cut out at some moment (loading ship in "f3 menu" and big ships coming into view in flight)
