Lighting is a lot better for the HTL version, because the hull is rounder. And the nose is recognizably different also.

Looking at the side-by-side comparison, the lighting looks better on the top one, but I'm told that's the original?

I would have a modeler take a peck at it just in case.

Yes, of course. But I am of the opinion that asking an artist for unfinished work is impolite. He'll post it when he's done with it, we'll just have to wait for it. It's not like it's a pressing matter anyway.

Posting the unfinished mesh to the public doesn't sound good, yeah, but sending it to a trustworthy modeller like Galemp seems reasonable.

He sent us the unfinished Hatshepsut, and RGA Norris whipped that into shape quickly enough. And he sent me his unfinished Colossus, which will see release before the end of the year.

Keeping community backups of this kind of thing is a really good idea.

The "HTL" version I made basicly is just a smoother and a bit spiffied version of the original. I deliberately didn't want to break up the smoothens of the hull, as for me that's what made hte Typhon typhon... Well, that, and using the stock typhon made all those sharp angles very obvious when you turned the lightning on, and it buged me.

That said - why is the comparison pic strictly from above? That's generally the worst way to make comparisons..especially given the smoothenss of the Typhons design.
