Now, there won't be many, they won't be often. I can't promise anything.
But when I get them. I'll post em here.

Anyway, while the build I was using still hadn't crashed I managed to grab one or two.

Here is a comparison between the original Homeworld replicated effect, and the new improved version.

Only comment on this is that the particles will definitly change.

Hopefully more soonish, this is more of a pre-emptive screeny thread at the moment.
More when I have them.

Oh and everything is always subject to change.

Looks like an effect well made.

The particle might even work with a slight color tweak.

I thought the old Homeworld version desperatly needed a revamp.

As for the particles, I'll probably change it to be a single animated one that looks like evaporating plasma or something along those lines. That was the closest looking plasma particle I could find that was already there.

More weapon shots.

The Hiigaran Mass Driver Variant on the left, Vaygr variant on the right.

The Hiigaran cannon-like version fires a long powerfull shot at a medium-slow rate of fire, great for ripping through fighter hulls.
The Vaygr machine gun-like version while considerably smaller and weaker, fires at a much higher rate of fire which is great for filling the the void with lead.

I have experience editing videos. I use Sony Vegas for my editing, and up until now, I have been mainly doing live-action stuff. My biggest success is here:

I have done some video game movies, for battlefield 2, but they were done with a program that I no longer use, and the subject matter is bland.

Impressive filmmaking.

That district superintendent should have been fired over that incident. He had no business keeping school open with as cold as it was and the news flat out saying that exposure to those temperatures risked frostbite. He should have also been brought up on charges for multiple charges of criminal child endangerment. What a moron. The kids were asking all the smart questions and he was giving stupid, non-relevant answers.

I don't really know what's happening. Everyone (including Project lead Dark Knight) seems to have disappeared and just as I get some FS motivation my modding PC dies.

Heh, I know how you feel - my modding PC just went under last night (it was a laptop and my power brick died).
Still, I'd like to take a chance at TAPs gameplay. I think I can something similar to Homeworld.
