Title: Release: Trouble At Home
Post by: Petrarch of the VBB on March 24, 2006, 04:18:39 pm
Expanding on the single mission I made aaaaages ago, I've followed it up with a handful of missions, including a cutscene.

Probably best to run it at 1024x768, so you can actually read the subtitle text.
Also has a custom music file for the cutscene.

Basic plot outline - You're behind the front lines, in the home systems (Beta Aquilae, to be precise), trying to weaken support for the NTF.

And you'll probably need the latest CVS build to run it.

I'd love to play this, but it.. doesn't work. Is this SCP only?

I select the campaign, and it sends me back to Main Hall, but clicking on the campaign doors does.. absolutely nothing. Happens with current pilot, happens with a new pilot. Put all the /data/missions/ stuff in /data/missions/, put the music track in /data/music/.. am I doing something wrong, or what?

It is SCP-only, yes. I should probably have mentioned that.

But you did mention that it required a CVS build.

Anyway, I'll try it out once I'm done with Derelict.

Wow, so nobody's ever commented on this one? I just played this through today and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Balancing was especially good, and it fulfilled that basic desire to blow a lot of stuff up. Couldn't really live with myself if this thread wasn't bumped for the good of humanity.

I've updated it so that the cutscene actually works without the camera spinning wildly, and fixed the problem of still being able to advance even if you've failed the mission. -_-

Uhhh.... what's a CVS build?

Nice shiny campaign!

I liked it a lot and it gave me the ability to test my new Alpha Wing guard Alpha wing on 20 priority feature ... (NEW AI build)

All wingmen except one alpha 2 and 3 survived and that one was strange I think the collided at full speed as the killed each other to 100%.

Best Wishes,

Fabian

Good campaign but too short!
