You know, briefing/debriefing screens, tech room screens, that sort of stuff. Doesn't have to be much, just without GTVA logos everywhere.
And while I'm at it: Does anyone have a main hall without GTVA logo? Except for the FS1 ones?

Well there's the INFA one, but that has a Callisto bomber in it.

And Inferno R1 doesn't, but it has the Gargant in it.

Blue Planet's main hall doesn't have a GTVA logo if I recall correctly, but it wouldn't really suit NTF in my opinion.

Well, why don't you wait for Flaming_Sword's interface templates? You will be able to easily make any interface you want.

Freakin sweet, If someone makes a ful-blown NTF replacement. I can get rid of the GTVA and get some good old fashioned pure humey funk on.

Templates (beta) coming out soon. :D

You supply the backgrounds and the HSV values of the desired colour for buttons, batch file handles pretty much all the rest through imagemagick commands.

How about a text heading, like "News Briefing" or "Propaganda of the Day"?

You could move the NTF logo down to just above the commit button and below the CB text to differentiate it from the GTVA one.

:bump: No, this is not dead. But I'm moving abroad, so RL is keeping me quite busy nowadays.

Meanwhile, I've decided to go with WMC's idea (unless someone has a really good idea). I'd like to hear ideas on font / style / colour and text for the following interface screens:
If I forgot any (other than the loading screen and the red-alert, that's deliberate), please tell me.

Stick to the normal BankGothic Md BT font, but make it soil-like in colour.

Make the text more fancy...right now it's the only flat-looking thing on that screen. A little loving with plugins could go a long away. :D

It's stretched 'cause it's supposed to be winged like the GTVA/GTA logos on the interface.

They where screenshots from cutscenes in the strategy game Supreme Commander. Darius also took the .ani heads from that game.

Put the wings on the NTF logo on an equal plane. It looks a bit weird at its current state.

I have no problems with the interface. Blue and yellow are the primary colours of the NTF logo.

I've been working on that. I'm looking for retail compatibility so there's a few kinks to be worked out, but it's coming soon. :)

Just have them in PCX and they'd be retail compatible. Flaming_Sword's templates could do that, except for the selected button glows.

Ah, but for retail we also need top-down views of the ships with brackets for the weapon loadouts. Ship and weapon ANIs are coming down the pipeline now.

You know, if there were two interface reskins, one for the Humanists and one for the Zods. They could have their own folder and mod.ini referring to mediavps and then it would be easy for people to switch. :D

Time to :bump: this again... I got a beta version ready, right here (http://www.mediafire.com/?ycftmcns9sx) on MediaFire.

Known issues:

- The Command Briefing screen doesn't show up. An earlier version (the one with the Orions) worked, but somehow this one doesn't. Any ideas?
- I deliberately didn't do the red-alert briefing screen yet, it's going to be something special.
- The loading screen I included will not show up if you don't activate it in FRED, because it has nothing to do with the NTF.

EDIT: Fixed these in the gamma, which isn't released yet :D Loading and red-alert screen are included. Also, I will use the Bastion mainhall.
- I didn't do multiplayer or low-res screens (AFAIK), because they're kinda unnecessary.

IMO different interfaces should be set via FRED, like the mainhall.

Perhaps somebody with IM could do it some day. As for now, just keep in mind that the NTF are Terrans too, so they're probably not that different from the GTVA :p

Any ideas about the Command Briefing screen? Or does it work fine with you guys?
