What about in game cloaking? I'm pretty sure you can't change the texture in game.

Cloaking is indeed doable, just like the autopilot sequences. Requires complex scripting and is commonly used for Kilrathi vessels.

Correct. Go search our archives. Has little to do with the final result, but it was, at least, a proof of concept.

I imagine there is no reason why you couldn't also cloak a capital ship.  Are you thinking of the jamming ship in WC4?
