I love you, you're great, you're fantastic.

But the name, the name! What does it mean? What's a Syrk? It has uncomfortable phonetic associations with 'sick', 'hurk', and 'jerk'. What's in a name, Mercutio? Is a Syrk by any other name still as sweet?

'Syrk' is the core part of the story, being the name of the currently unknown starsystem that will play a pivotal role in humanity's fate on the long run. Imagine the name as a Paganesque version of Sirius (at least that is how I do).
