Here's the first of a series of mini campaigns in which I intend to test a few new techniques of story telling for Storm Front III. At first I had planned only a few single missions which have a loose cover story, but in the end it became a bit more complex as you can see. Have fun. :)

Oh, and this is NOT an April Fool's joke. Defenitely!

But I can tell that when they changed my screen name message to say I am a global moderator, it was an April Fools joke. People who are global mods have badges. I wonder who's funny and strange idea that was  :p Also, Im pretty sure people have to go through a process to become one and also have to want to become one. The world doesn't work so easily most of the time.

Edit to add: Contrary to what certain silly people who don't know me think, whether it be people here or in the real world, I am surely not easily fooled and underestimating a person is not wise :p I do not easily trust for one. Anyways, funny joke and I'm sure some people who noticed might have though 'what the heck' if they forgot it was April Fools. :D Now that I think about it, calling google 'Topeka' has to be an April Fools joke too.

THIS IS NOT RELATED TO THE CURRENT DISCUSSION AT ALL!

You are not a very good moderator.  :(

I'm waiting until tomorrow to see if this thread is still here.  No offense, but HLP has a reputation when it comes to April Fool's Day.

Okay, it's April 2 and the campaign is still there. It wasn't even a bad thing that probably nobody downloaded it so far, because I just recognized that there was a tiny little error in the installation instructions. :P Be advised that you need Storm Front Stock 2.2 to play The Storm Chasers. ;-)

Can a mod/admin please highlight this thread. Thank you. :)

Why do I have the feeling that this highlight makes fun of me? Is it a bad thing to ask for a highlight? Have I been impolite? :nervous:

Well, I didn't mean it in any funmaking way. Seriously. If it offends you, I can change it. And yes, personally I'd view asking for a highlight as a slight breach of etiquette.

Seriously, though. Don't you have any banner images or something? I think that generic campaign release image is a tad bit boring.

Hm... can you use this (http://sebastian.ramrod-network.de/Freespace/JunkProductions/StormFront12-Logo.bmp)? If the font size is too small I can change it.

Please be more specific. Does the game crash when loading the mission? And what weapon sounds are missing?

Maybe you forgot to download one of the Storm Front Stock files.
