As an exercise in basic video editing, I put together a little preview of what I'm working on at the moment. The source of the vid is a mission called "Darkest Hour", where the GTVA begins its assault upon Earth in earnest.

Not much fighter action since they're all dead by the time of recording, so it's mainly just eye candy watching two corvettes duke it out.

I haven't seen the video yet (it it loading), but I saw the Aeglos in another BP screenshot, so I would think so.

EDIT: Yes, that's the Aeglos.  But why do the Earth guys still use Furys and Interceptors?

That's like asking why the GTVA still uses Orions and Leviathans in FS2.  Because they have not yet outlived their usefulness.

They're placeholder names until I can think of something better their stats are different from the ones in FS1.

Its Steve O's frigate for some project he's doing.  Was released publicly recently, but Darius got it for BP long before then (by special request).  Have you even played "Blue Planet: Age of Aquarius"?  If you had, you would know what exactly it is.  If you haven't played it, go play it now.  Its one of the best campaigns out there.

I played it when it came out, but I don't really remember all the ship types there were in it.

Re-playing it before the second part comes out seems like a good idea though.

The Deimos doesn't seem to be refitted like Orions and Leviathans were, however...which is why I asked.

    The fleet in BP1 was an advanced fleet as far as I remember . . . not exactly in common supply yet.

No, they are the small terran blob turrets, and also I don't remember the Deimos being able to fire the Slash beams so fast.

That can be dependent on difficulty level; TerSlashers should be able to fire every 10 seconds on Insane.  But those turrets do seem to be firing more frequently than usual.
