I know this is from Grand Theft Auto, but whenever I hear it I always picture a Blue Planet-type trailer, with some big-ass beam ships jumping into a firefight, kicking ass for three and a half minutes, then jumping out, leaving behind a smoldering, ever-expanding debris field.

Christopher Franke was one of the major members of Tangerine Dream and wrote the whole soundtrack for Babylon 5. So it wouldn't even be the first time one of their members scored a laser battle.
