You will have to ask the FSport team. They're the ones who recoloured them to match the Lucifer's colour in the ending cut-scene.

Well in the original cutscenes that we see it in (opening and ending cutscenes, the Lucifer seemed to be glowing green rather than red when it transitions out of subspace.

The port team took that and ran with it that ALL shivan ships are green the entire time they are in subspace

... I don't remember that at all from the cutscene.  Did this just change in the latest release?  Cuz I don't remember the shivans glowing green in subspace in FSPort either.

You have to look real close, easy to get distracted by the other stuff going on, but the Lucifer is definitely glowing green.  Not sure when the FS:Port team made Shivans green in subspace missions, but it's been some time (I am certain I saw an argument a couple years back over whether or not that is canon just like every other time something is changed)

I watched it again on youtube, and while I do see green, I also still see a lot of red.  More than the green.  I also saw a bit of silver and blue in there.  I think that was just the cutscene creators taking some artistic license (like when they have what in-game are flak turrets shooting generic laser looking bolts that don't appear in game at all).

Its because they had a bunch of assets and no idea of their context in universe.
