Knossos wont boot up now

Hi all.

For some reason, Knossos won't boot up anymore. It was fine the last time I used it - late last week, but now it refuses to do anything. I don't recall it acting up or doing anything odd the last time I used it. (Probably to play JAD if that means anything.) The little blue 'doing stuff circle' (technical name  :p) appears for about a second, then nothing.

I tried doing it with task manager open and it doesn't appear in the running apps list (not even for the second the blue circle appears.)

Tried it with and without the HOTS plugged in. No different.

Tried running as administrator - no change.

Any ideas?

Can you attach a Knossos log?

To find it: go to Windows's "Run..." menu (Windows+R keys) and type %appdata%\knossos and press Enter. I think the file is called "log.txt".

Goober me showed how to fix it. Turns out I had to hunt down manually delete stuff that simply uninstalling Knossos leaves behind. Clean instal and now it works again. 😊👍

Still a little curious why it stopped working in the first place of course, but that can keep for another time 😊👍
