Is there a way to make anything green on that HUD, well, not green?  Green against white is hard to read.

Well, you could also just make the escort list darker in pilot settings. Then again, blue friendlies could be fun, for a change. Doesn't the current military use blue as well?
Those shots are looking good, the only minor gripe I have is the cbanim. But I guess that will be fixed?

About the font....
I think it's really cool for briefing, target and ammo gauges, but i think it really looks horrible on the directives, escort list, and damage bar.
It looks way too old IMO....

How about adding one of those modern-day gunsights/pippers to that HUD, like the one Komet Jpn added in his FS2 localization patch? I reckon it would fit in quite well with the near-future jet combat theme that you seem to be going for. I suppose the existing lead indicator works just as well, but I think it'd be an interesting addition.

The explosions on ship death are a bit overdone IMHO, but then again, that's a general FS thing.
