And thankee kindly. Or thank Watsisname (sp) and i think Shiv set this BG up for me. I personaly hate making backgrounds in FRED... Wish there was a 3D-sphere tool that you could see where each piece was showing up so i dont have to go around changing planes to look at them. x.x

Yeah I bloody hate making backgrounds too. But I think my work on ED1-02.fs2 was pretty good.

So.. you say progress was made with ED lately?

Yupyup. She's being prettied up these days is all. Majority of the plot essential missions are done. One or two of them are WIP, and i discussed with the team a few non-plot essential missions (they dont directly relate to the straight-forward storyline, but are factors/elements in the universe of Earth Defense) that i would like to do. They should be pretty interesting... Aside from that, its more flair stuff were working on. Sorry if I'm being vague, I'm tiptoeing around the numerous landmines of... 'sensitive information', and Shiv would have me up close and personal with a cheese grater if i say to much.

Im working with Blowfish to make a Dev Blog update ( i forgot we had one until about a week ago) so you'll get the down-low on a great deal of things going on in Internal. Maybe you'll be in luck and something will get declassified for this occasion (which is pretty likely)

Okay, that's a dirty dirty lie. There is not a single Earth Defense mission that is done.

The core elements of the mod require vast amounts of work before it can enter the polish stage. Please don't try to get hopes up otherwise. We are not anywhere near the 'flair stage'. Progress is being made, definitely, but the mod is not in final pre-release polish or even to beta. The fact that the mission map is still being adjusted speaks to that, and modpack design is still fluid as well.

It's moving and it's moving well but it's not going to be ready any time soon.

I think you misunderstand me, or i wasnt clear. I didnt say were near release, but when it comes to the missions, all but like... three are ready for beta testing o0
