I was about to make a screenshot at 3300x2100 with 16x aa and 16x af.  Too bad all my screen cap methods wouldn't fit the whole foreground window in the image - it just captured the 1/4 1650x1024 square visible.

I still can't get the framerate to drop below 60fps, even at an obscene resolution.

^ What he said. Plainly, blowfish's machine is as the computing monoliths produced by the proud PC dwarves of Middle Earth to run at that resolution with those settings.

While you're waiting for those even bigger screenshots, here are some that I took while fooling around with the -window and -res [width]x[height] command...

First, some ship lab shots:










Then a few screenies taken from "King's Gambit" (a good mission if you ever need images of beamspam btw...):






Also, as far as capturing screens goes - you should be able to use PrintScrn key, and the resulting image should appear as ../FreeSpace2/screenshots/screenNNNN.tga where N is the enumerator of the screenshots. With big resolutions that folder's gonna be pretty big rather soon though, so regular clean-up and save of worthy shots is recommendable... unless you have a ton of HD space to spare for it to just grow.

Note the 6600x4200 shots, all at 16x aa and 16x af.  I still got 15fps!

If you have requests, please make them.  It's hard to play, though, at this resolution, because I only see the top left 1/16 of the screen...

It actually is.  However, the normal maps are not antialiasable.
