Thinking about scary beams, the BFRed made #91 in uk PCG's top 200 reasons to love gaming this month, including a link to GOG.

What's interesting is that the sceenshot is taken from Their Finest Hour, where the Sath kills the colossus, but only 3 beams are firing.  Looks like PCG skill haven't made it past Very Easy...

Or it may just be an old screenie.  Either way, FS2 strikes again!

Only three beams fire because of the firing arc of the Sathanas.  The same thing happens on other skill levels too.

Really?  Whenever I played that mission, the Phoenicia got hit by three, and she still nearly got blasted to kingdom come.

The Sath MIGHT use 4, but I think the fourth one fires after the Phoenicia's guardian kicks in.

It's not. At least not entirely. And you've got to give them credit for something; BtRL has got a lot more people playing it than Diaspora has at this point.

That's already used for the Shivan Megabomb. The recolored one is for the Meson Bomb variant.

Yeah, I like it better. I'm kinda sick of the "red = shivan" paradigm (well, particularly that all of the new missile trails look the same, not even different hues like orange)
