One day I messed up with FRED2 and tried making an eyecandy event (suitably for a cutscene, maybe) by making a Hecate actually go through an extremely "short" subspace tunnel (in other words, it looks like the Hecate is departing then arriving again in the same system, barely a few meters from its departure point). Then here it is;

Me in the Hecate's hangar bay...and being RAMMED into its subspace hole!



NOOOOOO!!! 



Then I finally died 



I restarted the mission, and saw the Hecate go through the "short" subspace tunnel (from the side);

The normal? Guess I'll look at it, probably won't notice it anyway though.
I don't know how to get a canopy back onto the Athena but all I did was put the third engine exhaust BACK onto the model since FSPort-MediaVPs uses Trashman's Athena Mk. 2 which originally removed the tail engine because "it was better" but they never fixed it.

Strangly enough the model has a canopy, but it went missing during the .cob to .pof conversion...
I had trouble converting the model ever since...will give it another try, since the missing canopy is bugging me too.

Once I had a Sathanas facing another Sath, then I had each warp out...then their claws kept on bumping with each other, each trying to move about, but can't since the other Sath will move that way too then they bump again and again...so it looked pretty much like two beetles fighting over territory  (Sath look sort of like a bug, ain't it?)

Speaking of collision, I remember another funny FRED2 trick.

I was with a force of like twenty Ulysses fighters behind a hovering Orion. Then a Sathanas is pointed at the Orion, so we're pretty much nailed. Then I ordered the Sath to engage subspace drive (via SEXP). The warpout pushed the Orion several klicks from where it started, SMASHING us tiny fighters to nothing...the Orion has still 91% health, but it's been pushed so far. Sath = epic win

Actually with how close everything on the HUD is it looks like that's actually the resolution he's playing it on.

If you place a ship, let's say a destroyer in the mission, and then place another one on it, order it to warp in during the mission, it'll drag the one present earlier, even though it'll look like it makes no sense

Resolution can be damned but why would anyone use GIF (aka 256 colours, indexed and - from the looks of it - using fixed dithering) in screenshots is beyond my comprehension.

I thought FS2_Open automatically saves all screenshots in TGA format.

I already resized it to "for 15-inch monitors" size, but nothing happens. Do you experience the same problem?

The original Imageshack was better, but now I like it less. Way less.

Just leave it at its original size, don't resize it, and post it using [lvlshot][/lvlshot] tags. It's what we all do.
