Dear Lord, just HOW do you make those crossovers?! I try to do everything...I edit the ships.tbl, put the Gigas in, its weapons in the initial Blue Planet ship and weapon.tbm/tbl, make a mod.ini whose secondary list involves both blueplanet2 and Inferno, and mediavps...NOTHING happens!
It's just ship overlapping in FRED!
And then I try to run the game using this Custom Crossover mod, all it does is just run it as if I were playing mediavps SIMPLY. **** it's so frustrating!
Excuse me for my noobish rant here, but please, can anyone tell me what exactly I should do to get those two mods clashed together? At least a few ships and weapons only?
EDIT: Well, instead of using blueplanet2 as a secondarylist mod, I used the original (Age of Aquarius) blueplanet mod. So unless you people want screenies specifically involving UEF forces vs. Inferno forces, I'll currently be posting AoA vs. Inferno crossover pictures (wait for them tomorrow).
The only real problem is that the Vishnan textures mix with Ancient ones (the Vishnan Preserves is half-blue, half-brown!). Is there anyway to get rid of this? Please help, as I want to involve Vishnans too.

You want the Gigas in Blue Planet? And it's not noobish rant. Maybe I just had luck with this crossovering.
You know, I explain to you what I did.
1. I wanted some Shivanz in WoD.
2. Instead of just copying every entry, I started one by one. I copied the SD Ravana entry (in the ships.tbl) into the WoD tbl.
3. I copied the cache, the model and the maps which are relating to the Ravana in to their relating folders (maps into maps folder and so on)
4. Then I started with the weaponz. I began with the Shivan Turret Laser. I just copied the entry from the retail weapons.tbl into the WoD-weapons.tbl. I didn't copied the relating effects because WoD works with the Mediavp data.
Then I followed this steps until everything was finished. Meanwhile I tested for missing textures and so on.
Simply said: The only thing I've done was copying and modifying the retail entries and the everything related to it into WoD. I did nothing with the mod.ini .
It wasn't that complicated because the maps etc. have their names relating to the Ravana.
If you want to use the Gigas, I recommend you to use the files from the ridicoulous mod, the Gigas is involved there.
