Wait they get smaller towards the center and larger at the ends? So it is a lot like a Lagrange Point like I initially thought. The spinning is awesome though.

Look at it from the side. The shape at the ends are larger than at the center where the entry point is. I didn't say it was similar as in they both had spinning rings, as they're different in that regard.
