Unless those ships are very badly unoptimized, there is no reason that mission would cause any lag on intelgrateds. Beam spam is barely resource-intensive.

I didn't think I'd ever hear "Karuna MK2" und "Beamspam" in the same sentence, unless the Karuna is on the receiving end, what with the total lack of any and all beams on that ship....

Hell yes! The FPA battleship is the coolest ship I've ever seen! Have you made any of the flagships in the game yet?

Sort of. I'm ripping them from a LoGH game and some of the geometry is really suspect. I have some flagships, but not in FreeSpace yet. I don't know if I'll do too much more for FreeSpace though. The scale of battles between the show and what FreeSpace can provide are totally different.

(Also FPA Battleship best design ever? What is WRONG with you?!)

Generally I thought the Alliance designs were odd (especially with that thin neck in a lot of them). I much preferred the Imperial designs. The cruiser and high speed battleships were my favorite designs. I like my ship designs sleek and smooth. :p

However, the Alliance flagships were nice, I'll give them that much!

Edit: However, the only Alliance design I will admit to really liking is the Leda II. It is such a shame that it was pretty much a unique ship!

Like the Konigs Tiger, huh? The standard and high speed imperial battleship are also very cool but I prefer more utilitarian designs, the imperial designs are double the size of their alliance counterparts.
