Actually, considering the ages involved, Laporte and Simms should be played by Karen Gillan and Ellen Page, respectively.

Samuel L is far too un-subtle for Steele.  Too bad the team has described him as a black fellow - Connery (current age) would be perfect for the mentality and grittiness, if not the accent :P

As for Noemi... Summer Glau, hands-down.  Simms is tougher... I haven't quite figured out who could pull her off.
