On a freespace note, you should probably find a way to disable the shield part of the ETS if you're gonna put the player in a shieldless ship

But as far as in-game stats are concerned, they still carry "paper thin" shields, that let weapon damage through unhindered, but reduce the effect of shockwaves on the fighters, which facilitates playability.

fuschia is not purple, guys.

During the mod's early stages of development the beam and textures were intentionally suppose to be purple. But it turned more fuschia later on. But lets be honest, not even the Shivans would want to mess with these guys.

Negative. Bal'ran fighters lack shielding. This is a problem that I am gonna fix later on when the campaign is complete.

atm yes, its only a color change from Vishnian(?) beam weaponary. It'll change as the mod's progress continues though to show distinction.
