Title: an obscure classic

I brought this up in WA a while ago, but I played this game again recently which made me think to post it in here.

Rocket Knight Adventures
a wonderfull mix of cartoony action, detailed sprites, exelent bosses, wonderfull music, one of the best genissis games ever made. unfortunately it wasn't very popular, and though a sequal was made, it wasn't anywere near as good, and the ffranchise died.

The final boss was an adrenaline rush in the later levels of difficulty. If you could get there that is.

Sounds suspiciously like a copy of Atomic Robokid.

I've still got the Cart box and manual from the early-mid nineties. One of my faveourites, Like Gunstar Heroes.

Konami for the Sci-Fi platform win...........
