Has anyone here played it?

It's been out since 1993 yo

I mean this one (http://www.ea.com/syndicate), you silly person.
Which, I gather from the RPS review, went instantly from "buy maybe" to "pass", just based on one sentence:
Syndicate is Deus Ex: Human Revolution without the stealth, hacking or conversation.

This version's better.

The co op is apperently pretty good.
-
That's what I heard too. Unfortunately I'm not buying it just for coop, and the single player has been flagged as generic and boring. So I'll pass.

These guys http://www.co-optimus.com/review/1003/page/1/syndicate-co-op-review.html appeared to like the coop.

Well, going by the prerelease stuff, I was hoping for another game to hit that cyberpunk-y sweet spot, maybe with more of a Richard Morgan-style dark story with added coop fun. Seems that the coop part is there, but I am not going to buy a game like that at full price just for that. Not to mention turquoise I'm going to have a hard time convincing my usual gaming group to do the same.

The psionic abilities are cool, the firefights are cool, but there are too few and the game is too short
the game is also very corridoor-ish
the whole badguy -- goodguy thing is very vague, i dont feel the goodguy was in anyway good or her cause just and I tried to kill her at the first opportunity Ive no idea why i'm doing her bidding
and I dont know why the badguy is bad and why I'm trying to kill him, just because the goodguy says so as far as i can tell
my recomendation is wait until its on sale
