A MAJOR EVENT has occured...
http://hoxdna.org/b5/Babylon5HoldTheLine.torrent

Up there is the hold the line 500 MB mod for starshatter. For everyone even remotely interested in B5 it is a must have. The author, Damocles has decided to leave some models unencrypted, and has no problem for their use (OFF COURSE PROPER CREDITS MUST BE GIVEN)

for the readme

I have a pitiful 56k modem. For those of you who are known to have DSL and other machinations of the devil leave your machine up and running some hours more for more of people to get it.

There are some amazing models in there... mods too...
AGENTSOFGAMING rules supreme!!!

If you want to be ready for Wing Commander Saga: The Darkest Dawn, then download and play the prologue first.

Here,

http://www.wcsaga.com/downloads/files/download/releases-prologue-setup-exe.html

Then, while waiting for the Darkest dawn, Download Starshatter 4.02

http://www.starshattermods.com/infusions/pro_download_panel/download.php?did=214

You 'll understand why once you have.

If this hosted anywhere else. My university makes an example of anyone who uses bit torrent by executing them in public.
Be warned: This site's admins stole 100s of hours of my work. They will do it to you.

Too bad since TBP R3 files will be most likely distributed by bittorrent. :D

FilePlanet will be serving as a good alternative for those who can't or are not willing to use BT.

However, since we're planning that TBP fans can upload their own TBP missions, etc to TBP tracker, you will probably miss some stuff unless those files are hosted on http or ftp. :)

It is a good way to share your TBP related stuff since most don't have webhosting where they could upload bigger files, and most free hosts just suck. :)

In other words, if everything goes as planned, TBP will have its own bittorrent tracker. Actually, its already running somewhere in the big, wide 'web'. :D

Those who are unfamiliar with bittorrent, can educate themselves with following links:

And BT client I strongly recommend:
http://azureus.sourceforge.net/
Azureus does have pretty good help pages on their site as well.

No there is not if everything goes according to plan. Some other download sites and people might mirror the files on their sites though.

By the way Edwin, if bittorrent would be a sucky distribution system, I wouldn't even consider it. However, it is an excellent way to get R3 files distributed by our own conditions. I know, I have used BT for years now and it beats every other P2P system hands down.

Of course dial-up users are not so lucky as you need both download and upload, that's where other download sites such as FilePlanet comes in. We will upload official R3 files to FilePlanet, from there they will most likely spread to other sites, which you may favor more than FP.

At the risk of starting a flamewar, what's the problem with torrents? I thought it was one of the coolest ideas concieved! It lets people with ****e connections host large files at a decent speed (Assuming you don't get a load of leeching bastards).

Then again I thought the same thing about P2P and so far the only thing that seems to be good for is downloading porn.. Uh, not that I'd know...
