Lulz.

Boystrous 19 year old temp at work slapped me in the face with an envelope and laughed it off as playful. So I shoved him over a desk and laughed it off as playful. It's on camera so I can plead reasonable force.  Temp is now passive.

To be fair, the movie does have the appearance (based on trailers) of being awful.

As Kara said, the reviews have been excellent. Check out rottentomatoes.

Did you watch the Onion clip at all? The humor revolves around the fact that the movie is quite good.

And thus a severe departure from at least half of all Star Trek Movies ever made...

It's actually strange to feel excited about this one. Haven't felt that way about a Star Trek flick since ST VI.

i like how the movie comes out right after i move to a town that doesnt even have a movie theater.

It's certainly the first ST Movie I've actually had my interested piqued in for a long time, may well go and see that, if I can talk Sharon into it, she's not a big Sci-Fi fan, so hopefully this will be a good place to start the conversion ;)
