Title: 5:1 Sound in WC Saga?

Hello folks,
I played evenly this nice game with my 5.1 loudspeaker system and noticed that 5.1 sound is not supported by WC Saga. Prologue.

That would be a nice feature in the main campain. This was be very useful to hear the bogey in my six. Or i hear Torpedoes flying.

The game experience would be so much better and intense.

Is it possible to add 5.1 sound in the game? Or limited the FS2 engine the sound to stereo?

I s'pose it is limited to stereo. OpenAL does support 5:1 sound (in fact it will replace EAX in the near future), but at the moment....

Thanks a lot for the info about Open AL.
My hope for the future is that 5.1 is supported by Open AL.

But for now stereo is ok ;) This game is truly incredible and i am looking forward for the main campain. :D :)
