It's definitely a named character, yes.

Re: Twenty quuuuuuestions!!!
I'm leaning towards someone mentioned in a (de)briefing that's not a pilot (otherwise surely they'd have had lines in mission) and not on a warships command crew. They don't deliver the brief/debrief so .. hmm... do I want to read all the (de)briefs on the wiki to see if anyone jumps out?

Re: Twenty quuuuuuestions!!!
I would have gone with Laporte's dad (I think he was a pilot), but I'd rather check the de/briefings & fiction notes first, I'm not sure he is actually named.

Re: Twenty quuuuuuestions!!!
I'll take a shot: Navahas squadron leader - Captain Telfer.
How do you kill a hydra?

You starve it to death.

Re: Twenty quuuuuuestions!!!
It's not Telfer, since he gives you your briefings in act 1. Laporte's dad is dead.

Re: Twenty quuuuuuestions!!!
Right, missed that :
Are they canonically dead by the end of Tenebra?
That's a negatory. 10 questions remain.

Re: Twenty quuuuuuestions!!!
Right, the character isn't dead, so it can't be Laporte's dad.

Uhhhh...
Did you take "in mission" as with or without briefings, debriefings ect.? I feel kinda silly now that I forgot to say it more precisely...
I interpreted it as without briefings/debriefings (so during actual gameplay).
I can't really remember any instance where Telfer spoke anything in-flight...

Re: Twenty quuuuuuestions!!!
Do they present a briefing or debriefing to the player?
Not to my knowledge. 5.

It's not Telfer.

Also, hey, we never got an answer to this one.

I missed this earlier, but no, it's not Knight 2.

As others have already pointed out, it's not Telfer or Laporte's dad. Anybody else have a guess? There's still 2 questions left, by my count.

I'd ruled him out since he's the CO of a warship.
