No light from projectiles?

I've noticed that in the 3.6.17 build, laser weapons don't cast light upon surfaces. Is this a performance thing? The BP build seems to be the only latest build with deferred lighting that's missing this feature.

Yeah, I noticed this too... Is it intended or a bug of some sort (My lighting is at full settings in-game).
