But that actually looks to be a pretty damn good lineup. :yes:
I especially find it interesting that Spore is there... How will the controls work?

4/20/2006 - Moved my Photoshopped version to the new HLP server. The original version had been removed at some point before the Photoshopped version was sent to XBox 360 Magazine.

Spore, Fable 2, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.
FPSs:
Battlefield: Modern Combat, Black, Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, Dark Sector, Halo 3 (no duh...), Perfect Dark Zero, Prey, UT 2007.
Sports:
Amped 3, Top Spin 2.
Fighting:
None (I don't like fighting games...).
Racing:
Burnout: Revenge, Forza Motorsport 2, Full Auto, PGR 3, Test Drive Unlimited.
Action:
Chrome Hounds, Gears of War, Kameo, Ninja Gaiden 2 (:D), Splinter Cell 4, GR3.

So either Blue Dragon or Lost Odyssey is Obsidian's 2nd game if the rumors that it's an X-360 launch title are true.

Blue Dragon is being Developed by Mistwalker, the studio headed up by the guy that created Final Fantasy.
@Raa, yeah, it's from the next issue of OXM apparently.

The FPS lineup looks good as does the racing and RPG. I see Quake IV being good and of course Halo 3 for sure.

Both are Mistwalker's titles, it's nice list of games if it's not fake

If it is a genuine list, then there's not a single console (i.e. for any console) exclusive title on it that I actually want. And no PES?

While all signs point to this being fake, i am rather intruiged, although nowhere near enough to even ponder buyin an XBox360, i mean hell, everything on it'll just come out BETTER & CHEAPER on PC a few months later...

I note that Google does not list any pages purporting to be of a list of x360 games. Nor do any of the games sites I've visited recently.
EDIT; incidentally, IIRC Will Wright said that Spore was PC-only; but offshoots (i.e. simplified subsections) might be considered for consoles at some point.

if this is real.....all I can say is Holy crap! but I suspect it isn't....after all, who'd develop FS3? its not like [v] even remember it anymore either....

aldo: it's a leak, and a magazine scan, so most websites wouldn't mention it. I don't think that's necessarily proof against.
...or at least, I would like very much to believe it's not.

Um...they do, actually. Gamesradar, for example, mentions a lot of leaked information. What they don't do, is duplicate the scans on their own webspace; they may link to them, but with some form of disclaimer that they'll probably be pulled.

(and indeed for leaks on the xbox 360 and PS3 specs)

I spotteed FS3 first time through and was surprised the first couple of posters didn't pick it up.
I find it speculative, but plausable.
Freespace3 would make sense to be put on the latest consoles along with PC. Online play, graphics that out do the SCP (which would have to be a must), I'd suspect that a different style of gameplay would be expected also.
Still all mere speculation however.
Plus why would they remake FF XI, a three year old game on the Xbox 360, I'd expect they'd rather make a new one?
Slightly OT, but what do you think would happen to the SCP, should a FS3 become reality?

That was confirmed at the E3 launch, I think; I believe they're making it for the Ps3 as well, and planning a sequel of some sor also. It makes sense in a way; they can maximise their possible user base rather than split it across consoles & games, and utilise economy of scale to cut down on support & server costs (plus the general PR & play value of a larger playerbase).

The same thing that happened to the Halo CE developers when Halo 2 came out. Even more renewed effort into the old girl, boosted in enthusiasm by the new universe and artwork placed in front of us. ;)

Damn! I can't believe I did not see that! Must of got distracted by Ninja Gaiden 2 and Gears of War. Wow. This is apparently a magazine scan from the next issue of OXM, but I'll wait until I get my issue before I pass judgement on the legitimacy of this list.

The font used to write FS3 is exactlly the same as the rest. If it is, who ever photoshoped FS3 into that list managed to copy the style and fading of the other titles brilliantly.
EDIT: Come to think of it, after looking closely at it, the Freespace 3 bit lacks the inclination of the other text. Who ever did it forgot to rotate the text a little bit, to match the other lines.
Good scam, though.

This scan is hosted at an Aussie gaming site under the X360 section. I'm surprised no one else has picked it up yet considering this does look legit.

Could be that the site was underranked by google.co.uk because of location or something. I dunno.

Incidentally, I remember reading a sort of survey of average magazine scores; both the official Xbox and Ps2 (UK, IIRC; probably same for US) tend to massively overscore games compared to non-official reviewers....

Already saw that on Gamespot. Seems as if the developers like the PS3 for raw power, the Xbox 360 for ease of developement that makes it easier to take advantage of the power, and the Revolution for whatever surprises it might hold.

I just dragged letters around, basically. :) But as Swamp_Thing noticed, I couldn't precisely replicate the slant of the other titles.

Sorry about the bump, but this thread is dead on accurate while old and not showing the complete list of titles being currently developed. A new Turok was just announced today, and Ninja Gaiden 2 was confirmed by Itagaki at 1UP.com.

No matter what Bungie says, we already knew Halo 3 was in development and this proves it.
