So I've been really tearing into Team Fortress 2 over the last month or so for the first time since I bought it, and I've been having a ton of fun with it.  I know we tried to pull off a HLP TF2 get-together a long while back, and a few people showed up, so how's about we give it another shot?  I can show off my now-I-know-how-the-hell-this-game-works skillz.

Sweet, I'm glad that there wound up being more interest beyond myself. I guess the next step is figuring out when and how to do this.  I'd imagine that the weekend would probably work best for most people; I'm usually free for most of it myself.  As far as servers go, I have a few regular hangouts I've been frequenting during my playing time, though fitting everyone into the same one might be a bit dicey.  Maybe someone out there with an extra rig would even be able to host something specifically for us.

Whoever is in charge of the HLP group should just hold an Steam event every few days or whatever. It makes a little notice pop up for all the members of the group, and a tidy link to join it. He could probably sync it up to other groups' events and use their servers, or just randomly hijack one...
I'm not exactly clear on how events work, so I'm just throwing ideas here.
