Title: Internet channel is now free

Internet channel is now free on the Wii. People that already payed for it (Suckers. I didn't- our computer and wii are in the same room) can get any NES game worth 500 Wii points starting in october.

That's nice for a change.  I'd rather have just the points than a NES game so I can afford Cave Story when it eventually comes out on WiiWare.

Then after a while they decided to charge for it?

The original beta was free, yes.
