Project Zomboid, an isometric zombie-survival game.

It's not just the run of the mill zombie shooter game; shooting and fighting the zombies is just one of many concerns. Other aspects include dealing with depression, pain, hunger, injury, sleep. They factor into the gameplay in a lot of ways. For example, your character will panic if he's attacked by a zombie; you can manage it if it's just a few isolated ones, but if running from or past a mob, your character will suffer from an extreme panic attack, causing him to lose perspective, awareness, and not being able to swing or shoot his weapon properly. Then there's stuff like whether or not your hideout is actually strategically viable. For example, is it situated near a street where the zombies might wander through? Are there more than one exit? And what is the chance of a zombie spotting you running to and from your hideout? You can't save your game, either, so you really need to consider all these things. It's stuff like this that just makes it so very awesome, even though it's essentially just a tech demo for the time being.

They recently released the latest version for free via BitTorrent - http://www.projectzomboid.com/test666/ProjectZomboid_PublicTechDemo_0_1_4c.zip.torrent
It's currently in a pre-alpha state - 0.1.4, but it's loads of fun already.
