yea, expecting women to come after you just wont work. ive had some luck in that regard, but hardly enough to rely upon for bastard-spawning. and generally the ones that come after you are either insane or desperate or both, and that does not make for a good long term relationship though will certainly get you laid (getting rid of them might be an issue). your typical 'normal' woman has a tendency to submissiveness (even your slightly more aggressive/*****y feminist types), and so you got to be an alpha wolf or at least fake it.

AKA Confident body language and verbal dexterity, gauging HOW confident to be just takes a few minutes of conversation to appraise the individual. The ability to gauge comes from practice, practice, practice.

No time spent on learning these things is time wasted.

Jury duty today. Finally, after four times, got called up to be part of the pool for a possible trial.

"Do you have any reason to dislike or distrust law enforcement?"

"My brother was charged with a felony and pled to a misdemeanor as the result of what I believe was an illegal search of his vehicle."

Absolutely truthful. Also pretty certain I was not going to be in the jury pool long after saying that. I was correct.

I believe that is it. He said he had reason not to trust the system of law he was being asked to uphold. Of course they're going to drop him from it.

Whether his reasons are justified or not, that is not the place to raise a complaint about past police actions.

In all honesty for that particular case I don't believe it would have mattered in the slightest to me if I was selected. But you've got 40 people and you only need 14, so no reason to keep the obvious risk factors.
