Yeah, what do they have to do? As far as I know there's no canon evidence of Shivan presence in the system beyond Altair...

Wait, in Cold Element it's Tau Sigma? :nervous:

Re: Things you want to know about BWO but were afraid to ask
Everything is pretty much set within established territory.  Remember BWO is more about Terrans and Vasudans and plots for and against the Alliance and all over the place.  Lots of room to play with inside established territory.

Yes there are logical reasons for being all over the place. Namely because the 101st is the go to team for any sort of crisis so rather than fighting on a battlefront your being moved to wherever the next crisis is.  A rough equivalent would be the Rainbow Six team from the Tom Clancy novels/video games.

There won't be any visits to collapsed systems like Taliana, right?

Most of the major systems of the Alliance? Does that mean that we will visit beyond-GTVA systems, other than Sol?

There are no Shivans in BWO.
what do shivans have to do with pokemon?

Nothing?

There won't be any visits to collapsed systems like Taliana, right?

Also, will there be more jokes concerning duct tape?

I would hope so. It was a running gag in Derelict, though I never saw any mention of it in Warzone.

Nor did I.

Speaking of which, which came first, Derelict or Warzone?

Are you going to retcon references to Derelict and Warzone? The campaigns are separate and are about two different views of a Post Capella GTVA. If you want to merge them you need to change something, IMO.

Re: Things you want to know about BWO but were afraid to ask
We make as few references to the past as possible...so you can go with either reference (Warzone or Derelict) and it won't be a big issue.

As for the inconsistency...its just a matter of force application and what resources are available.  Or...in other words Derelict wanted to make the capital ship battles a bigger deal and in Warzone I wanted there to be some serious ass kicking :D

Re: Things you want to know about BWO but were afraid to ask
Now, now, that would be telling.

Like Ice said, there are only minimal references that will go above normal people's heads, that the experienced will recognize. But like Warzone and Derelict to one another, BWO is its own thing. None of them are related, and yet all of them are.

Expect BWO to be its own thing.

Cold Element

I meant in-game content. I'm very well aware of what cold element is, and who the developers are.

Re: Things you want to know about BWO but were afraid to ask

Like I said before...and what got a couple of folks all worked up (no idea why still)...we build on the base of Warzone and Derelict to give us some back story, some familiar ships, a general state of things.  But you could have played neither Warzone nor Derelict and be just as happy and basically miss nothing.

There isn't a complex relationship on the other hand and BWO isn't a sequel to anything.
