cannot land on temeraire in first mission with landing
i cannot figure it out for the life of me. i keep ramming into the subsystem box but cannot find out how to get in. nothing opens and flying around there does not open anything or show me anything. does anyone hav any suggestions?

Huh, that's odd. There should be a bunch of openings along the lower part of the Temeraire's forward hull, with blinking glowpoints to indicate access. Can you fly through those and get inside?

It's on the bulbus head section, along the lower edge.

Believe me--you're far from the first person to have trouble finding where to land in this mission. :p

Toggleable glowpoint path toward the fighterbays like they have in the X series would be a great feature.

No. Matth's right, glowpoint lighting (which highlights the entry path much better) is a preferable solution.

Fixed.

the issue with textures is that is a unwieldy solution and requires texture replacements if you want to change anything which you then have to build for each different situation which is a lengthy process to do well.

With glow points producing light you then have a situation where you turn on or off different glows depending on what you want to do using a small number of sexps, and they would have the added advantage of working with nearby craft such as fighters landing/launching.
