I had a quick look to see who to direct this question towards but couldn't find out who made the Saturn skybox. How did you work out the angle of Saturns rings so the perspective looked right in-game.
I've played around trying to have an object wrap over several sides of the box but it always looks horrendous.
Is there any tips or tricks that you can recommend to me? Or was it just a painful case of trial and error.

Look at the credits. HerraTohori did BP's skyboxes.

I'd look at skybox making articles around the net. Basically Herra made a scene in blender with Saturn and rendered the scene onto a skybox.
