Anyone have a picture of Freespace Tachyon, even being it does not come by in my archives hehe

As for books like the ones Peter Telep wrote of the Descent series, there were no books written by Peter Telep or any other book writer with a Freespace storyline and imo The Freespace universe is large enough for a books series and I would of loved to see them coming, let's hope for a book series when or if aFreespace3 comes around right

There is not a "Freespace Tachyon" short of our FringeSpace mod, which is WIP.

Tachyon the Fringe, is a separate game from Novalogic, came out at about the same time as FS2, and had a wide appeal to
a lot of folks that like the space combat genre. It was mostly free roam, had very large bases and two multiplayer modes that
could have up to 64 players in a single server and/or map.

Looks like someone butchered the Wikipedia article and neutered it, it's not even half as good now. So I'll have to link you to Steam.

Heh, I'm glad someone else out there remembers those Descent books.  They were a pretty entertaining read for being game adaptations.

I wish I still had my Definitive Collection box.  I have my D3 and FS ones lying around, but I guess I got rid of that when I was too young to know better.  Or else my parents just tossed it.

Sad that your parents or you would of tossed it out People seem to forget what they are throwing out, happens a lot I find

Nice collections!!!  I wish I had not tossed my original boxes for Fresspace & FS2.  I do still have all my original disks and manuals, but I've been playing FSPort instead of retail.

One thing I always wanted but never got was one of those keyboard overlays from Cockpit Overlays advertised in the back of the FS2 manual.

If it was written in traditional, it'd be more like this:

That is awesome though! It's pronounced 'Zìyóu kōngjiān', literally 'Free Space'.

EDIT: Searched on Youku (Soku) and found someone playing FreeSpace Port. Unfortunately, no sight of a Chinese FreeSpace 2 has been sighted on the internet yet. I'd love to hear the Chinese voices as well. I also found a little board for FreeSpace, and it has topics about BP and Diaspora and even GoG. Unfortunately, a topic with a torrent of the US copy of the game is stickied on the front page, so I won't post a link.

Hmm I wonder if there is a FreeSpace: The great War and a Freespace: Silent Threat in these Chinese variants, which also goes for the entire Descent series, if so that would be new goals for me too seek and obtain Many thanks for that infor, only I can't eread Chnese haha. the seelr from who i got it from told me it was traditional Choneese so I kinda took it from him back then which was somewhere in 2009 I think it was.

Here a collection update, I did my recount today and found out that I have 102 items and not 112, so yeah it was good to find out what I really have collected them past 18 years and 4 months.

So here the two factory sealed items I bought off ebay from Old game collectors I think, since such find a are near to impossible these days.

But yeah, they were my first true case mods too and I still have that case, the Pyro-GX is a bit weird since I land depth precision and I can't see 3D so drawing a 3D image was very hard haha, the left wing would be drooped down more as it seems, oh well I am not going to change it. it's something I did back then
