I cant find him, maybe the server is closed ; the link http://vega.livecd.pl/~havner/yal/linux that was on this topic : http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=68413.0 is dead.
If someone could find YAL, I would be very happy (to meet the Lucifer :))

Check this (http://www.freespacemods.net/download.php?view.616), maybe ?

FreeSpaceMods (http://www.freespacemods.net/download.php?list.53) seems to have two versions.

Yup, but the second one seems to be the (very) release... as the first got (source) after his name.
After, this is maybe for Linux... Dunno :nervous:

Thanks but I'm on linux :( isn't there anyone who have yal on linux ?

Yeah, and YAL's main point is to be a launcher on Linux. As Satellight said, the other YAL thing at FreeSpaceMods is the source code, so (I think) you should be able to compile it yourself.

yep, sure, but it's one of the first release and I hope it will be compatible with the 3.6.12 version. Well, I cant lose anything but time on trying :)
Finally, I think that v3 rc2 = 0.1.3. It's a strange notation. Well, I will compile it, and I think it will work.

Eek, that's some version number difference! Just noticed that now.

It works, but there is no way to select a MOD. It says "You don't have any mod". Here is a screen : http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/7494/capture2eg.png
But there is another solution : copy the command that I got from the yal, and add the -mod :p
