I'd like to request that someone resurrect and debug the McCathy Campaign for FSPort. It was a rather interesting campaign where you play as a wingman of Lt McCarthy who defects with him to the PVN near the beginning of FS1. The campaign featured a major branch about half-way through. I only managed to complete one branch the other was bugy and wouldnt let me complete the mission.

Could someone please ressurrect and debug this campaign?

It got a bit weird for me on the escorting freighters at the depot mission when the freighters took some insane amount of time to get to the waypoint...

Not sure where you can find it, actually. It should be on the Volition Watch archives, but the missions section of that site got screwed up so it's harder to find (for me anyway).

This only occurs when i try to add an attachment here.
They take forever to load up, then the window descides to have an error and shut-down...So in the end, ive igven up on attachments and prefer e-mail attachments

I already have it.  I got about 1/2 way through fixing it up (bugfixing, Lightspeed backgrounds)  before bogging down in the volume of issues found in some of these missions.  I therefore prioritized it lower than some of the other things i have to do (TVWP, ST:R, Pandora's Box, Boomerang).

Oh...okay...Were the issues in the branch where McCathy survives?

I'd have to look at it again; I just recall two or three missions in a row that required extensive changes.  I then despaired of having to make that many changes in the rest of the missions and put it to one side. 

Black Horizon Episode 1 is the FS1 campaign that is probably closest to rerelease.  There is just one mission in this campaign that needs fixing up; but that mission is severely flawed and will take time to correct.

I converted the Mccarthy Campaign over to use the FSPort and made some tweaks to it.  It is posted on Hades Combine in a zip file with some other FS1 converted campaign files.

I have here created a hybrid of my version and Macfie's.  The first half dozen or so missions were edited by me, and the rest taken from Macfie.  Macfie's version does not have backgrounds, and is often missing music, whereas I had completed that part for all missions.   Therefore I added the backgrounds and music to Macfie's versions and zipped the whole thing up.  If you guys would really like a bug free version, please play and post feedback so that any issues can be fixed.
