FPS counters have been known to shoot down during Screenshot taking.

Note this battle was screen shot over a YEAR ago!!! To recap the period, specular shading was still new, dds was not used yet, and HTL was still buggy. The system I was using was a 1ghz Athlon with a Radeom 9500 and 756mb of ram. Screenshots also took away 10-15 fps.

I've yet to benchmark such a battle with today's build and current system.

Nice shots, but the Herc I has been...done. It's been shown off so many times, it really doesn't have the same impact of sheer awesome-ness that it held when it was first released...

...Hmmm, i'm thinking someone should make an ultra-high poly / SCP version of my all time favorite vessel...the GTEP HERMES!!!

And the Lucifer's like, "hahahaha n00bs oh crap i'm dead"
And then Earth's like "yay!! oh **** there goes subspace"

That pic was from my defunct FSPort campaign. It was always cool seeing the Typhon come right over the Orion, and seeing the crossfire between the two at close range.

I posted these as proof of a SEXP error on an SCP thread but I think they're cool enough to deserve a wider audience :)

Basically an error in the ship-create SEXP meant that instead of getting the single Herc I wanted I got an entire shoal of them :D
