Not to do the mini-bumpage thing here, but has anyone with a modicum of skill out there thought about doing something with this?  With the effort required to crack this puppy, it seems a damn shame to let it fall back into oblivion again.  From the little I read of the documents it contained, there were some cool ideas going on.  I'd kind of like to know where Star-Epock disappeared to after dropping this off, too.

A quick glance at the announcement clearly indicates that the campaign has buried its head into the ground and is not going to resurface any time soon.

Now that my state of mind has cleared up a bit, I am interpreting Mongoose's message so that even though the archive was cracked, it seems that no faction is working on continuing the campaign itself -> life sucks and then you ****in' die, as they say.

Yes, that's what I was getting at.  I didn't have anything personally invested in cracking the archive myself, but I was thoroughly impressed at the dedication that many showed in doing so, and I feel like that effort would be all for nothing if the half-completed campaign just sits on someone's hard drive collecting virtual dust for years.  The fact that the campaign's concept seems to cover some ground that I've yet to see one pull off makes me all the more interested in seeing something come of it.  What puzzles me the most is that Star-Epock came here with the file asking for the community's help, saw that work on it was proceeding...and then never returned to follow up on whether or not the effort had been successful.  It could be that he simply forgot about it, or had some personal issues come up, but I do find it strange that someone would seek help and then neglect to obtain said help.

Wow, congratulations...  I still wrack my head over it every so often when someone mentions 'FS2' and it still eludes me.  That's one less thing to think about

I've seriously got no desire to continue this campaign - occasionally I mull over the concept and realise how hackneyed it actually was, so if someone can do something better, be my guest!
