Camerone Gender?

From debriefing stage 5/5:

I'm sorry about Camerone. He went down fighting the best. His parents are gonna be real torn up, but real proud

After fight if only Camerone died:
"It's over. Did Cam punch out? ....she didn't, did she?"
So, which one is it :P

Well, that wouldn't surprise me. No one ever comments on Naomi being a lesbian even though that's pretty obvious by Tenebra.

EDIT: I'm not suggesting being gay and being transgender are the same thing--only that acceptance of them seem to go together.
