It is late February, but I have begun cleaning up my yard to prepare for spring
deathspeed:
I just cut down a dead tree to toss into the firepit this spring. It went off to the side more than I intended, and since i misjudged the distance one limb hit a power line on the way down. I was thankful to see lights still on in my house. :)

Aside from finishing a few choice Freespace relates voice roles lately, I have managed to upgrade my job from a health and safety industry testing related job (which I took to be closer to home fornmy young kids at an over 50% pay cut), to a home-based UXO Operations and UXO Specialist job with contractor management responsibilities.
I think this will be my forever job :D <3
I get to ply my favourite trade, apply my corporate schmoozing experience and look after the good lads/bring the hammer of God down on the bad eggs.

It'll be a doss compared to what I'm doing but in a very comfortable (to me) industry.
