Hello, registered just to post this problem: when I open BTA, there's no text anywhere. Nothing in pilot section, nor mission briefings, nothing.

This is the same bug that was affecting Wings Of Dawn, which I fixed by downloading the WoD standalone and then grabbing the fix (https://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=95368.0). There's obviously no standalone for BTA tho.

Graphics card is AMD Radeon 7540D. Running BTA from knossos.

I have no idea. I'd like to see a screenshot. I'm unfamiliar with the WoD issue. Standby while I ask around.

Looks like a combo engine bug and/or driver issue. I'd recommend updating your video drivers to see if that helps. Otherwise, I don't know that there's much I can do.

See this thread particularly the last 10 posts or so.

OK yeah, graphics card update fixed it thanks. Now to try that installation mission again...
